Privacy and Data Protection Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Speedy Meals Delivery Services, a business registered in Pakistan, trading as Speedy Meals, collects, uses, shares, stores and protects your personal data.

This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in those Terms.

Current status: Speedy Meals is in a pre-launch phase. Today, people can register their interest in becoming a Customer, Rider or Restaurant Partner. Food ordering and delivery have not started. This Policy describes the data we handle now. Section 14 explains what will change at launch.

We use your data only for these purposes, or for purposes that are compatible with them. We do not use it for anything unrelated without asking you first.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these cases:

Service providers who help us run the Website and our operations, for example hosting and infrastructure, database, messaging or email providers. They may process data only on our instructions and to provide their service to us.

Legal and safety reasons, where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a regulator or law-enforcement body, or to protect our rights, our users or the public from fraud or harm.

Business changes, if Speedy Meals is merged with, or its business is transferred to, another entity. We will make sure your data stays protected and will tell you of material changes.

With your consent, where you ask us to share your data.

Our staff can access your data only where they need it for the purposes above.

We may contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email for onboarding and launch updates that relate to your Registration.

We send marketing or promotional messages only if you opt in. You may opt out at any time by replying 'STOP' (or the equivalent) or by emailing support@speedymealservices.com.

Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages that we need to send (such as a launch or account notice relating to your Registration).

We retain personal data strictly in accordance with purpose limitation and statutory compliance:

We may keep limited data for longer where needed for fraud prevention, security, resolving disputes, tax or accounting records, or to comply with the law. When we no longer need data, we delete or anonymise it.

You may ask us to:

- access the personal data we hold about you;

- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;

- delete your data (see Section 9);

- withdraw your Registration or your consent to contact;

- opt out of marketing at any time.

To exercise these rights, email support@speedymealservices.com from the email address or phone number you registered with, or tell us the details you used so we can verify it is you. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days. If we cannot fully act on a request (for example, where the law requires us to keep some data), we will explain why.

You can ask us to delete your data and withdraw your Registration at any time.

How to request deletion:

1. Send an email to support@speedymealservices.com with the subject 'Delete my data'.

2. Include the name and mobile number you used to register.

3. We will confirm your identity and then process your request.

What happens:

- We delete or anonymise your registration data and any account data we hold about you.

- We may keep limited data where we must or need to, for fraud prevention, security, resolving disputes, tax or accounting, or legal compliance. We keep it only for as long as necessary.

- We will confirm to you once your request has been completed.

Deleting your data ends your Registration. You can register again later if you wish.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

- encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your device and the Website;

- access to personal data limited to authorised people who need it;

- security logging and monitoring for abuse and fake registrations;

- secure storage with our providers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects you and the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant authority.

The Website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for it to work and stay secure (for example, to remember your form input or protect against abuse). If we later add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Website works.

Speedy Meals is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact support@speedymealservices.com and we will delete the data.

Our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside Pakistan. Where we transfer data, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected in line with this Policy and applicable law.

When Speedy Meals launches ordering and delivery, we will collect more data, so this Policy will be updated before we start collecting it. For your information, we expect this may include:

At that time we will also update the App's data disclosures on Google Play. We will ask you to accept the updated Terms and Policy before you use the services.

The App and Website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies.

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version on the Website with a new version number and effective date, and give reasonable notice of material changes (for example, by email or a notice on the Website). Continuing to use the Website after the effective date means you accept the update.
